Sports Desk: The Sri Lankan cricket team will play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh at home next April. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) has decided to return spectators to the field with that series. The country’s sports ministry has confirmed this through a source.

The two-match Test series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will start from April 21. The second and final test will start on April 29. Both Tests will be played at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy. The Tigers will play a two-day warm-up match against each other from April 16 before the Test series.

The Bangladesh cricket team is scheduled to leave for Sri Lanka on April 12.

The SLC hosted a two-match Test series against the Sri Lankan Premier League and England after the coronavirus break. However, the league and Test series were in a stadium with no spectators.
