International Desk: The United States has suspended the trade agreement with Myanmar. Katherine Tie, the U.S. trade representative, made the announcement in a statement Monday. He also said that this decision will be implemented very soon.

“I strongly condemn the violence in Myanmar,” she said on Twitter.

The United States has said the directive will remain in place until the political situation in Myanmar stabilizes. The way ordinary citizens are being persecuted there is unimaginable. Protesters, students, workers and workers who protested peacefully are also being persecuted.

Earlier on Saturday, the junta government tortured protesters on Myanmar’s Armed Forces Day. Shots were fired indiscriminately. The European Union strongly condemned the incident. US President Joe Biden also made a statement on this.

The United States then decided to sever its trade agreement with Myanmar. It is learned that the bilateral agreement that has been in place since 1993 has been suspended. The United States will consider the deal again if a new stable government comes to power in Myanmar.
